When I was sophomore at Howard University I began hand-painting t-shirts in my dorm room. Almost 10 years later, my mediums have slightly evolved, yet I still love the feeling of a brush against a smooth faux leather handbag. While I pride myself in the use of adinkra stamps, hand-carved in Ghana, I am also proud of the strength and durability of the non-toxic paints and dyes used on each my pieces. I have painted hundreds of handbags and purses, each one-of-a-kind with a distinctive look.
